Definition
The Experiential Education Supplement applies when an organization conducts experiential activities such as hiking, ropes courses, or horseback riding as part of any COA accredited service other than Wilderness and Adventure-Based Therapeutic Outdoor Services. Activities are designed to support the achievement of treatment or service objectives through direct experience and focused reflection.
