Innovative Practice Award Winners

COA is proud to recognize the winners of the Innovative Practices Award for their creative work and innovative use of resources in addressing the unique needs of children, youth, adults, and families. Award winners are evaluated and rated highly for their planning and presentation (15%), performance and quality improvement (40%), and innovation (40%) plus a public voting period provides an opportunity for external stakeholders to vote for their favorite innovative practice (5%).

Germaine Lawrence is a residential treatment center for girls ages 12-18 with complex behavioral, psychological and learning challenges.   Girls live at our programs while receiving special education, individual, family and group therapy; psychiatric and primary medical care; and a wide variety of therapeutic activities and interventions.
