ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions

ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions has been accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) since 1996. Reaccreditation attests that a member organization continues to meet the highest national operating standards as set by the COA. It also provides assurance that ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions is performing services which the community needs, conducting its operations and funds successfully.
Standards for Child and Youth Development (CYD) Programs
The Standards for Child and Youth Development programs were developed in support of enhanced programmatic growth and stability, an unwavering commitment to the health, safety, and rights of clients, and producing high quality, measurable results.
The Child and Youth Development Program Accreditation process involves the review and accreditation of the program’s administrative operations and its service delivery practices.
Child and Youth Development Edition Services
COA’s CYD standards apply to a variety of programs. These include:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) programs, which include day care centers, etc. Home-based/in-home services are not included in this section.
- After School, School Age Care (SAC), Out-of School–Time (OST), etc. programs.
- Youth Development (teen) programs.
Categories of Standards
The Standards for Child and Youth Development programs are divided into two parts, each with sub-sections.
Administration and Management Standards
The Administration and Management Standards apply to all programs regardless of the services provided or population(s) served. They describe practices that promote sound operations and management.
Service Standards describe practices related to distinct services provided by child and youth development programs. Within the CYD standards, the following services may be reviewed:
