We provide services to children and adults (EAP, private insurance, private pay, etc.) in our private practice setting. Purpose

Customers who participate in non-medical counseling identify and build on strengths, develop skills to manage situational change, and improve functioning in daily activities at home, at work, and in their community.

MIL-NMC 1: Service Philosophy

The MFR program’s delivery of non-medical individual and family counseling is guided by a service philosophy that:

  1. establishes the foundational principles that inform all aspects of service delivery;
  2. is based on the best available evidence of service effectiveness;
  3. reflects the input of the MFR program’s customers and community partners;
  4. promotes meaningful participation, inclusion, and self-determination;
  5. provides a basis for the implementation of strengths-based, family-centered service;
  6. is grounded in the social and cultural context of the military community; and
  7. is understood by staff.
