Catholic Charities of Central Colorado

COA Standards for Private Organizations

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado has been serving the Colorado community since 1968 and has been accredited by COA since 1997. We provide help and create hope for people who are poor and vulnerable through our ministry. We offer a full suite of poverty reduction services, pregnancy support services, individual and family counseling, and family immigration services.  A team of 50+ volunteers help us serve more than 600 hot meals most days, 365 days a year, through our Marian House Soup Kitchen.  We are very proud of our ability to help clients achieve their self-sufficiency goals.

Transitional Family Services

Transitional Family Services (TFS) began providing services to Georgia's consumers in 1993, and today offers a range of family preservation, child, and adult services (including therapy, IFI, Medical, and Parent Aid). Currently TFS holds contracts with 40 counties in Central and Northern Georgia.

Germaine Lawrence is a residential treatment center for girls ages 12-18 with complex behavioral, psychological and learning challenges. Girls live at our programs while receiving special education, individual, family and group therapy; psychiatric and primary medical care; and a wide variety of therapeutic activities and interventions.  Services include a therapeutic day school, assessment program and home-based therapy.

Using DBT and other cognitive behavioral approaches, we treat girls with depression, attachment disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, trauma, eating disorders and other medical conditions such as diabetes.  Our fully accredited school program meets the requirements of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.

Northside Psychological Services

Northside Psychological Services is a combination of both private practice and community mental health provider. We provide services to children and adults (EAP, private insurance, private pay, etc.) in our private practice setting. In our Community Care Program, we provide services to children and adolescents in their homes.
