COA Standards for Military Family Readiness Programs

Accreditation greatly enhanced our quality improvement and customer focused service. COA’s standards as applied to the Wisconsin National Guard Family Readiness Programs have given the organization an opportunity to examine best practice and improve the quality of service provided to our customers. Becoming accredited and now developing a plan to maintain our accreditation has helped us increase our professionalism and thereby provide better services.

While receiving excellent support from COA staff, the accreditation process offered many benefits to all the Military Family Readiness programs within the Wisconsin National Guard. First, we created customer rights policies and procedures which define expectations for both our staff and our customers. Second, we have developed a formal community capacity (outreach) procedure, which ensures we bring the very best community resources to our customers. This has allowed us to engage our various stakeholders throughout the planning and execution of our diverse programs.

CSS Healthcare Services provides Community based health services to the young, the elderly and to Individuals with Developmental Disability. Founded in 1997, we have the ability to offer a variety of quality community-based services to our clients, which has greatly contributed to our growth and success.

The Consuelo Foundation 2012 Peer Reviewer of the Year, Mr. Arteaga conducts two to three site visits a year, often volunteering for visits that require a Spanish speaking peer.
