Call for Submissions: Innovative Practice Award

Is your organization supporting novel, ground-breaking practices or programs that have improved the quality of services for clients? Do you encourage your staff to “think outside the box”? Submit an application and case study by January 31, 2013.

The Innovative Practices Award exists to recognize and promote novel, groundbreaking approaches to administration and service delivery in the human services field.  Recipients of this award have markedly raised the quality of services provided to vulnerable children and families, and adhere to theory, practice wisdom, and expert consensus as reflected in the broader literature.

Though the time spent in completing the self study and hosting the site visit can sometimes feel sometimes daunting, the rewards far outweigh the effort. In our agency, the self-study is a group process that involves every member of the staff from the CEO to the building maintenance staff.
