COA 2012 National Conference, August 5-7

COA is hosting its National Conference –Fulfilling the Promise – on August 5-7, 2012 at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City. The conference will serve as a collaborative forum for leaders in the field to learn from each other by sharing their wisdom, insights, struggles and successes.

To support the conference theme and objectives, COA is offering a diverse array of topical workshops in effort to provide guidance and foster meaningful discussions around important topics such as social media, mergers and acquisitions, benchmarking systems, human trafficking, outcomes measurement, corporate compliance, innovative practices, approaches to service delivery, performance quality improvement, and leveraging accreditation with funders.

Highlights of the conference will include Sunday’s opening reception, the Networking Breakfast and the presentation of the Consuelo Foundation Peer Reviewer Award, as well as three compelling speakers: Ambassador Susan S. Jacobs, Christopher Kennedy Lawford and Dr. Janice DeFrances.
